Echo Tech CV, PRN, 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Knows and selects appropriate ultrasound equipment for echocardiogram procedures.
• Makes sure sound waves are of good quality and documents exams on appropriate media.
• Consults with physicians as needed about test data and critical results.
• Safely and correctly manages and operates equipment.
• Inspects equipment daily to ensure it works well and reports any malfunctions.
• Collaborates with other healthcare team members on patient information and necessary interventions.

Qualifications

• Completion of ultrasound program; RVS or RVT eligibility preferred.
• No previous experience required, but preferred.
• BLS certification required before the end of the orientation period.
• Excellent communication skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment.
