Echo Tech CV, PRN, 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Knowledgable of and selects appropriate ultrasound equipment for echocardiogram procedures.
• Makes sure sound waves are of high quality and documents exams on appropriate media.
• Consults with physicians as needed about test data and critical results.
• Safely and correctly manages and operates equipment, reporting malfunctions as necessary.
• Collaborates with other healthcare team members to share pertinent patient information and coordinate interventions.
• Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required, completion of ultrasound program preferred.
• No previous experience required, but preferred.
• BLS certification required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
