Echo Tech CV, PRN, 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Knows and selects appropriate ultrasound equipment for echocardiogram procedures.
• Makes sure sound waves are of good quality and documents exams on appropriate media.
• Consults with physicians as needed about test data and critical results.
• Safely and correctly manages and operates equipment, reports malfunctions, and collaborates with the healthcare team.
• Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, completion of an ultrasound program preferred.
• No prior experience required, but preferred.
• BLS certification required before the end of the orientation period.
• Excellent communication skills necessary, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
