What You Will Do
- Produces accurate and efficient clinical diagnostic images as directed by providers and/or reading physician according to established standards and protocols.
- Initiates proper notification to reading physician or referring provider when test indicates immediate attention.
- Reviews appropriate indications for tests ordered and contacts provider for more information when needed.
- Provides test data in a complete and accurate format for presentation to the reading physician for interpretation.
- Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, and environment and infection control.
- Affords assistance with staff/student on-the-job training and orientation.
- Affords assistance with analysis, collection, and maintenance of records as required by department manager, Quality Improvement, Joint Commission, accreditation standards, OSHA guidelines or as may be required by the facility or law.
