Tasks And Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms to evaluate heart aspects.
- Process ultrasounds using portable sonographic equipment and send for interpretation.
- Unload and transport portable sonographic equipment to facilities.
- Take clinical images that meet diagnostic and technical standards.
- Check voicemail and available cases regularly.
- Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing.
- Communicate effectively and maintain professionalism with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
- Maintain equipment in a professional manner and report malfunctions promptly.
Required Skills
- Maintain required certifications and registries.
- Graduate from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
- Care for equipment in a professional manner.
