Essential Job Functions
- Set up and independently operate press equipment, including Mark Andy, Flexographic, Delta, and Herma presses.
- Manage daily press operations with a focus on quality, productivity, safety, and housekeeping.
- Perform die cutting, perforating, punching, rewinding, unwinding, slitting, folding, and packaging processes.
- Review job tickets and verify materials, inks, and dies before production.
- Complete production paperwork and quality documentation.
- Inspect finished products, make press adjustments, and maintain quality standards.
- Maintain production materials and supplies for assigned equipment.
- Use measuring tools, including scales, calipers, micro scales, and densitometers.
- Monitor press speed, tension, and registration throughout production.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine preventive maintenance; coordinate with Maintenance as needed.
- Communicate production issues, recommendations, and safety concerns with operators, team leads, supervisors, and other departments.
- Interpret production paperwork and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and company safety standards.
- Complete Oracle transactions for work orders, raw material declarations, inventory movements, and quality processing.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 3–5 years of printing experience.
- Flexographic printing experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience with flexographic, lithographic, or web printing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, job tickets, and production documents.
- Proficient with measurement tools and mathematical calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lead press operations and support team performance.
- Willingness to learn additional printing processes and equipment.
Pay, Benefits, and Schedule
Nissha Medical Technologies is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $25-$30/hour plus a $2.50/hour shift differential. The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
