ECG Press Operator

Essential Job Functions

• Set up and independently operate press equipment, including Mark Andy, Flexographic, Delta, and Herma presses.
• Manage daily press operations with a focus on quality, productivity, safety, and housekeeping.
• Perform die cutting, perforating, punching, rewinding, unwinding, slitting, folding, and packaging processes.
• Review job tickets and verify materials, inks, and dies before production.
• Complete production paperwork and quality documentation.
• Inspect finished products, make press adjustments, and maintain quality standards.
• Maintain production materials and supplies for assigned equipment.
• Use measuring tools, including scales, calipers, micro scales, and densitometers.
• Monitor press speed, tension, and registration throughout production.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine preventive maintenance; coordinate with Maintenance as needed.
• Communicate production issues, recommendations, and safety concerns with operators, team leads, supervisors, and other departments.
• Interpret production paperwork and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and company safety standards.
• Complete Oracle transactions for work orders, raw material declarations, inventory movements, and quality processing.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of printing experience.
• Flexographic printing experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Experience with flexographic, lithographic, or web printing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, job tickets, and production documents.
• Proficient with measurement tools and mathematical calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lead press operations and support team performance.
• Willingness to learn additional printing processes and equipment.

Pay, Benefits, and Schedule

Nissha Medical Technologies is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $25-$30/hour plus a $2.50/hour shift differential. The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
