ECE Coach - Full-Time, Full-Year

About the role

The ECE Coach at Miami Valley Child Development Centers (MVCDC) is responsible for strengthening classroom quality and supporting educators in delivering high-impact early learning. Key responsibilities include providing hands-on coaching, modeling effective teaching practices, and guiding teachers in building skills, confidence, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on coaching to teaching teams
• Model effective teaching practices
• Guide teachers in building skills, confidence, and professional growth
• Partner with teaching teams to ensure classrooms meet Head Start and state standards
• Improve outcomes for children and families through observation, reflective feedback, and data-driven planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• At least 2 years of experience working with young children in an educational setting
• Experience in coaching and mentoring educators
• Strong observational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching teams

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Head Start and state early childhood education standards
• Experience with data collection and analysis
• Passion for early childhood education and its impact on children and families

Pay

• Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually
