ECC Communications Supervisor - Computer Aided Dispatch Administrator (Unit ECC)

About the Role

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking an ECC Communications Supervisor - Computer Aided Dispatch Administrator for the Mendocino Unit. This position is located in Willits, CA.

Responsibilities

• Supervise communications center operations and staff
• Administer and maintain Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems
• Coordinate emergency response communications
• Oversee dispatch procedures and protocols
• Train and evaluate communications personnel

Requirements

• Must be currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for reinstatement, have list or LEAP eligibility, in the process of obtaining list eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility
• Must meet Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification
• Must clear a Background Investigation prior to being hired
• Must pass Medical Clearance prior to being hired

Pay

• $5,819.00 - $8,012.00 per month

• Permanent, Full Time
• In Office (no telework)
