eCamp After School Teacher

This is an application for an eCamp Teaching position at our central Matthews campus. The eCamp staff are all followers of Jesus who take their representation of Jesus and of the church seriously, both at work and at home. RESPONSIBLITIES Create a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children in your careFacilitate and implement programming provided by the Curriculum DirectorLead and actively participate in all scheduled activities with children in your careServe as a positive role model by demonstrating respect, teamwork, and encouraging confidence and healthy social skillsMonitor campers for health or safety concerns and administer basic first aid as neededMaintain accurate attendance records and ensure camper accountabilityCommunicate clearly and effectively with fellow counselors, camp directors, and support staffAssist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom and activity environment HOURS Part-time position for the 2026-2027 school yearMonday-Thursday, 2:30PM - 5:30PM. Team member hours may vary based on program needs Must-Haves Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)Passion for children and familiesAbility to make sound, critical decisions under pressureA team player with excellent communication skillsGreat attention to detail and time-management skills Nice-To-Haves Experience working at a Summer Camp or Childcare FacilityCPR/First Aid certification Familiarity with Elevation Church
