After School Teacher

About the role

Early Childhood Educator supporting out-of-school time programs for elementary-aged children, primarily on school grounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers
• Implement curriculum tailored to individual children's needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment
• Partner with parents to ensure quality care
• Collaborate with staff and leadership to meet enrollment and accreditation goals
• Build positive relationships with families, community contacts, and regulatory authorities

Requirements

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or meet NAEYC candidacy
• Preferred experience in early childhood education
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and engage physically with children
• Proficient in English communication

Pay

Hourly pay between $16.90 and $22.85.
