East 7 Intermediate Nursing Assistant, Full-Time

About the role

The Nursing Assistant at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, provides patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN. This role involves performing direct and indirect patient care tasks, including assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning. The role also includes anticipating and addressing the patient’s family needs proactively, individualizing and modifying care based on the patient’s needs, and collaborating with other healthcare team members to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Team-oriented and eager to expand skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of experience.
• Basic Life Support certification from either the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
