About the role

The Earthwork Superintendent oversees site grading and civil construction activities for commercial, industrial, development, wind energy, and road projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, and skid steers
• Coordinate with subcontractors and supervise field crews of 5 to 25 personnel
• Interpret project specifications and ensure work compliance
• Monitor progress and maintain communication with project management
• Support material procurement and scheduling
• Promote safety policies on-site

Requirements

• Demonstrated supervisory experience in civil construction
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
