Earthwork Superintendent

Position Title: Earthwork Superintendent Role Overview: Responsible for overseeing site grading and civil construction activities, including road and drainage improvements, utility installation, dewatering, soil stabilization, and foundation excavation. Operates heavy equipment such as blades, dozers, excavators, and skid steers to perform tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with subcontractors to plan, interpret project specifications, and coordinate work phases.Monitor ongoing work to ensure compliance with project specifications and schedules.Supervise and manage field crews of 5 to 25 personnel, including operators and laborers.Assist the Project Manager with material procurement and scheduling.Ensure adherence to safety policies across all personnel on site. Qualifications & Skills Demonstrated supervisory experience in civil construction preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing conditions.Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.Dependable with initiative and problem-solving abilities.
