Earthwork Field Superintendent

Meyer Contracting Inc. is a Highway/Heavy contractor based in Maple Grove, MN, specializing in Earthwork, Underground Utilities, Demolition, Concrete Structures, and Foundations operations primarily in the greater Midwest area. We focus on developing exceptional people and are looking for a talented Earthwork Field Superintendent to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a wide variety of Earthwork applications on one or multiple projects at a time
• Perform daily safety audits on responsible work sites
• Manage all sub-contractors on responsible work sites
• Maintain all required paperwork for responsible work sites, including documentation of timecards and production quantities using the Heavy Job program

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Earthwork project supervision experience
• Skilled in the use of personnel and equipment in an earthwork capacity
• Considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check for access to certain restricted project sites
• Must be a team player—Meyer Contracting Team members operate as a family

Pay

Union: Hourly range $43.00–$54.00. Non-Union: Competitive wages with additional benefits through our 100% employee-owned ownership program.
