About the role

We are seeking a permanent, part-time Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Dunbury CE Primary Academy. The role involves working Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 3:15pm with a half-hour lunch break (27 hours 30 minutes per week), term time including inset days (39 weeks).

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistently high-quality experiences and interactions with our youngest learners.
  • Work in a beautiful, bespoke Early Years base with a preschool and Reception class in a peaceful village setting.
  • Support the development of early language and communication skills among pre-school children.
  • Integrate with Reception children and tailor a bespoke curriculum based on each child's developmental stage.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification.
  • Interest and motivation to develop skills and experience.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Dedication to the development of early language and communication.
  • Strong organizational skills and a strong sense of initiative.
  • A positive attitude and resilience to challenges.
  • GCSEs Grade C / 4 or above in English and Maths or Functional Skills in English and Maths.

Qualifications

  • An interest and motivation to develop your skills and experience with willingness to support across both phases of the Early Years cohort.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Dedication to the development of early language and communication.
  • Strong organizational skills and a strong sense of initiative.

Pay

The salary for this role is negotiable but competitive based on experience and qualifications.
