Early Morning Caregiver for Teen with Disability

About the role

ExpertCare is looking for reliable, compassionate, and helpful Caregivers to work 1:1 with our Recipients in their homes. You will support, encourage, and assist with skill-building activities, and bring clients into the community to help grow and strengthen their personal goals outside of their home environment. ExpertCare serves Community of Mental Health Recipients in Southeast Michigan.

Full and part-time positions are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care and support to Recipients in their homes
• Assist with skill-building activities
• Support Recipients in community settings to achieve personal goals

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
• Must be 18 years or older
