Early Intervention Specialist

About the role

Mentor South Bay is expanding to Leominster, MA. We provide Early Intervention, ABA, Behavioral Health, and Mental Health Outpatient services across Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Raise a child with a developmental disability with knowledge, love, patience, and support.
• Be part of a team providing in-home early intervention specialized services for infants and toddlers.
• Plan, schedule, and provide weekly early educational in-home services for a caseload of infant/toddler clients with disabilities, including developmental delays and autism spectrum disorders.
• Administer and document all program assessments and updates accurately to meet timelines.
• Create, implement, and adapt activities for language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help, and social/emotional development for each individual child, using best practices.
• Model effective adult-child interactions and provide written information on parenting, child development, and weekly activities to parents.
• Monitor, document, and share the child’s progress with the family and team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Early Intervention, Early Childhood, Special Education, Child Development, or Child Studies.
• Experience with children under 5.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
• A compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do.

Qualifications

Full compensation/benefits package for employees working 32+ hours/week, including a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and holiday pay.

Pay

$59,000 - $63,000 per year

Schedule

Full-time position, 40 hours/week
