Early Head Start/Infant Toddler Teachers

About the role

South Shore Early Education and Care is expanding! We are opening new Toddler classrooms at our recently renovated Wareham facility and are looking for caring, dedicated early childhood educators to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team now and receive orientation, classroom training, and ongoing support as you transition into one of our new Infant/Toddler classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing environment for infants and toddlers.
• Support children in building relationships, exploring, learning, and reaching developmental milestones.
• Foster a dependable, patient, and passionate approach to early childhood education.

Requirements

• EEC Lead Teacher – Infant/Toddler certification required.
• Successful completion of CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background checks.

Qualifications

• CDA in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience working with infants and toddlers (preferred).

• Caring and dedicated attitude toward early childhood education.
• Nurturing, dependable, patient, and passionate about working with infants and toddlers.
• Ability to engage children in relationship‑building, exploration, and learning activities.
