Early Head Start Child Development Assistant- Infant and Toddler Center

An anticipated vacancy for a full-time position within the Early Head Start Program, working with infants and toddlers in Coatesville, PA.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Child Development Specialist in planning and executing early childhood activities.
• Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with adults and children.
• Assist the teacher in carrying out the duties of caring for children.

Requirements

• CDA or Associate’s Degree, or willingness to attain CDA within one year.
• Previous experience working in a childcare/preschool setting preferred.
• Bilingual/Bicultural preferred.
• Current (within one year) State Criminal, Child Abuse & FBI Fingerprint, NSOR Clearance clearances required.
• Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire).
• Two professional written letters of reference.

Pay

$17.91 - $23.49/hr. Placement on scale based on years of experience.

Schedule

• 8.0 hours per day.
• 5 days per week.
• 260 days a year.
