Title I/31A Duties
- Provides direct instruction to students identified as eligible for math and/or reading services.
- Teaches in individual and/or small group settings as directed by the classroom teacher.
- Guides the learning process towards meeting district's reading and/or math content standards.
- Uses manipulatives and hands-on activities to support content standards and individual student needs.
Instructional Responsibilities
- Collaborates with classroom teachers to provide evidence of preparation upon request.
- Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and program requirements.
- Assists in maintaining classroom order and behavior through reasonable rules and procedures.
Student Supervision
- Be on time and fully present during assigned duty times.
- Report any necessary issues or concerns to the classroom teacher or building principal.
- Suggest any necessary changes or modifications to the classroom teacher or building principal.
Desired Qualifications:
- A valid Michigan Teaching Certificate/License.
- A passing score on WorkKeys or 60+ college credit hours.
