About the role
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Early Childhood Education program at Little Sprouts in Melrose, MA. Manage a team of educators, implement curriculum, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of the curriculum and educational programs for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
- Manage a team of educators, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and education.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for early childhood education.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication and feedback sessions.
- Conduct staff training and professional development activities to enhance the skills of the teaching staff.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of new educators to join the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in early childhood education, preferably in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing early childhood education.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay
Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually, depending on experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with some evening and weekend responsibilities.
