About the role

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Early Childhood Education program at Little Sprouts in Melrose, MA. Manage a team of educators, implement curriculum, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of the curriculum and educational programs for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
  • Manage a team of educators, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and education.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for early childhood education.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication and feedback sessions.
  • Conduct staff training and professional development activities to enhance the skills of the teaching staff.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of new educators to join the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in early childhood education, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing early childhood education.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
