About the role
THIS POSITION IS ONLY FOR HIGH SCHOOL INSTRUCTORS INTERESTED IN TEACHING DUAL CREDIT CLASSES FOR NORTHEAST COMMUNITY COLLEGE.
Requirements
- Transfer Faculty: Minimum of a master’s degree which includes substantial study appropriate to the academic field (typically ≥18 semester hours of graduate credit).
- General Education Faculty (transfer): Same as transfer faculty (≥18 graduate credit hours).
General Education Faculty (non‑transfer): Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the subject area, or a master’s degree with significant undergraduate/graduate coursework (≥18 semester hours) and appropriate experience. - Career and Technical Faculty: Bachelor’s degree, or associate degree plus licensure/certification equating to a bachelor’s degree, plus ≥5 years of related work experience.
- Academic Support Faculty: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the subject area, or a master’s degree with significant undergraduate/graduate coursework (≥18 semester hours) and appropriate experience.
- Short‑term Skills‑Based Classes: Completion of training necessary to teach the skill and any required certification/licensure, or three years of related experience.
