Early Childhood Substitute Teacher / Assistant

Scheck Hillel, a large private school located in the Aventura, Florida area, has openings for qualified on call substitute teachers/assistants in our early childhood division. Responsibilities
- Help maintain students' academic progress by facilitating lesson plans during a teacher's absence
- Assist the remote teacher in managing the classroom
- Assume the responsibilities of the classroom teacher for the school day by maintaining a consistent volume of high quality instruction with accuracy and professionalism
Requirements
- At least two years of college coursework (60 semester credit hours)
- Classroom experience and/or experience working with children in a structured environment
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Satisfactory background check (including references and fingerprinting clearance)
