About the role
The Substitute Teacher/Assistant helps maintain students' academic progress by facilitating lesson plans during a teacher's absence or assisting the remote teacher manage the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate lesson plans during a teacher's absence
- Absorb and execute the classroom teacher's (s) responsibilities
- Maintain a consistent volume of high quality instruction with accuracy and professionalism
Requirements
- At least two years of college coursework (60 semester credit hours)
- Classroom experience and/or working with children in a structured environment
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Satisfactory background check (including references and fingerprinting clearance)
