Responsibilities

  • Teach early childhood special education curriculum
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student learning
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements

  • BA/BS from accredited college or university
  • Valid Colorado License endorsed in area of assignment: 0-8 or 0-8 Early Childhood Special Education
  • Meet Department of Human Services requirements for Site Director, preferred

Qualifications and Expectations

  • Experience: District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year relevant experience
  • Work Schedule: 182 contracted work days

  • Schedule: Starting date July 28, 2026
  • Pay: Minimum starting pay is $50,500/year and the maximum salary is $101,999/year

The minimum starting pay is $50,500/year and the maximum salary is $101,999/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience.
