Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant / Resiliency Coach

About the role

Join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing mental health and resilience in early childhood settings. Our organization is seeking an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant/Resiliency Coach to support educators and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to children aged 0-8 years old
• Conduct home visits to assess child and family needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement comprehensive mental health plans
• Offer training and workshops to staff on mental health topics
• Evaluate and document progress using standardized assessment tools

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field
• Experience working with young children and their families
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood development and mental health
• Experience with trauma-informed care principles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually
