About the role
Alpha is seeking an Early Childhood Instructional Coach to lead campus-wide PreK readiness results through educator coaching, program consistency, and evidence-informed, joyful classroom environments. This position offers an annual compensation of $150,000, distributed weekly, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage begins on your first day.
Responsibilities
- Cooking and leading play-centered learning sessions that integrate SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, demonstrating excellence for the teaching team
- Evaluating and aligning Guide documentation on a weekly basis to ensure rubric consistency and clarity, facilitating calibration meetings that maintain milestone visibility
- Create family communications and facilitate team coordination meetings that synchronize objectives and strengthen collective commitment to campus PreK readiness targets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline; Master's degree or advanced certification preferred
- At least 5 years of professional experience in early years education, early childhood development, or a related area
- Demonstrated success designing and executing play-based educational frameworks or curricula that support developmental milestone achievement, such as Montessori approaches
- A minimum of 1 year coaching or supervising a team of educators with clear performance expectations
- Knowledge of educational technology platforms, adaptive monitoring dashboards, or digital observation systems utilized in early childhood environments
Qualifications
- Direct experience facilitating groups of young children between the ages of 3 and 5
- Background in behavior guidance approaches and co-regulation methods for children ages 3-5
Skills
- Effective one-on-one and small-group coaching with PreK Guides
- Ability to architect and lead play-centered learning sessions
- Experience in evaluating and aligning Guide documentation
- Proficiency in composing written family progress communications
- Experience in facilitating team coordination sessions

Pay
$75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
Schedule
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
