About the role

An onsite position in Austin, TX. Relocation assistance available.
$150,000 annual compensation, paid on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individualized and small-group coaching for PreK educators, demonstrating effective methods and acknowledging quantifiable progress.
  • Arcitect and lead play-centered learning experiences that integrate social-emotional learning, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, serving as the exemplar for your team.
  • Assess and align educator documentation on a weekly basis to ensure rubric consistency and actionable insights, facilitating alignment sessions that maintain visibility into milestone achievement.
  • Create family communications and facilitate team alignment meetings that synchronize priorities and strengthen collective commitment to campus-wide PreK readiness standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline; Master's degree or specialized certification preferred.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a comparable area.
  • Direct experience facilitating group activities with young children between the ages of 3 and 5.
  • Demonstrated capacity to create and execute play-based educational frameworks or curricula that promote developmental milestone achievement, such as Montessori approaches.
  • A minimum of 1 year spent coaching or supervising an educator team with clear performance expectations.
  • Background in drafting written family progress reports and facilitating team coordination meetings within educational contexts.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
  • Commitment to working onsite at the Alpha Austin campus, with relocation assistance offered as needed.

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Knowledge of educational technology systems, adaptive analytics interfaces, or digital observation instruments utilized in early childhood environments.
  • Background in behavior support approaches and co-regulation methods for children ages 3-5.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
