What You'll Do

• Collaborate with teachers to implement engaging lesson plans and ensure high-quality care for our students
• Promote a nurturing environment that encourages social, cognitive, and emotional growth among children
• Support colleagues by covering breaks and facilitating teacher planning time
• Verify adherence to all center policies and state regulations
• Maintain a healthy and safe classroom environment through diligent attention to hygiene, cleanliness, and security
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and achieve continuous quality improvement

Requirements

• Must hold a Colorado Shines Level 2 credential (or be EC Lead Teacher qualified) and be able to obtain within 2 weeks of employment
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues, children, and parents
• Comply with all background check requirements
• Work a full-time schedule with 4 days per week
• Enroll in 2 fully paid Early Childhood classes within the first year of employment, if necessary

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or related field
• Experience working with young children in a group classroom setting
