Early Childhood Educator (Levels 2 or 3)

Reporting to the Program Supervisor. Ongoing contract, full-time (1.0 FTE), benefits eligible.

About Us

We are a faith-based early learning program located in Calgary, committed to providing high-quality childcare and Christ-centered education for young children. Our program operates with a holistic, child-centered philosophy grounded in Alberta’s Flight: Early Learning and Care Framework, inspired by emergent curriculum and the Reggio Emilia approach. We aim to create rich, engaging environments where children feel a deep sense of belonging and are empowered to explore, create, and grow.

The successful candidate will use their God-given gifts to help fulfill our mission of “Laying Treasured Foundations for Tomorrow.” They will contribute to a learning environment that weaves Biblical values into daily routines, fosters meaningful relationships with families, and reflects a deep respect for the capabilities of each child. Educators will engage in prayer, Bible stories, and spiritual reflection with children in authentic and developmentally appropriate ways. • Create and maintain a rich, engaging environment that empowers children to explore, create, and grow.

Requirements

• Alberta Child Care Certification.
• Alignment with our faith-based mission and commitment to integrating Christian values into early childhood education.
• Experience in early childhood education, preferably within a faith-based or emergent curriculum setting.

Qualifications
