Early Childhood Educator

About the role

We are seeking teachers who can adapt quickly and learn on the job to make a positive impact on young minds and hearts by attending to their everyday and educational needs while nurturing their growth and development. We are currently seeking team members for the roles of Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging and educational activities and lessons
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Communicate effectively with parents and co-workers
• Observe and document children's progress and development
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Help each child reach developmental milestones

Requirements

• High School diploma
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• CPR/First Aid certification - if not completed, we will provide this training within 30 days of employment
• Ability to pass a Background Check (Finger Print) and CPS (Child Protective Service) Check in VA or Out of State if less than 5 years

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
• Experience in early childhood education or related field
• Hold CDA or other associate's degree or higher
• Current First Aid/CPR Certification
• Current Medication Administration Training (MAT)
