About the role
Provide introductory gymnastics and movement instruction for early childhood participants.
Responsibilities
- Lead and monitor small groups of participants in gymnastics activities.
- Spot participants while they are performing gymnastics.
- Demonstrate fundamental gymnastics skills.
- Provide a safe and positive environment for all participants.
- Inspect and secure gymnastics equipment.
- Address complaints and resolve concerns.
- Relate sensitively to participants.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum six months of experience in early childhood or childcare, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, First Aid, CPR, and AED certification within two months of hire.
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing ≤ 30 lbs on a daily basis. Lifting assistance is required when lifting > 30 lbs.
