Early Childhood Assistant Teacher

About the role

The role involves assisting in the daily operations of the early childhood education program, including but not limited to preparing learning materials, supporting teachers in classroom activities, and supervising children during playtime.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize learning materials for various age groups
• Support teachers in planning and implementing educational activities
• Supervise children during outdoor play and group activities
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children in a childcare setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications

• Valid CPR and first aid certification
• Background check clearance
