About the role
The position is a teacher assistant working with infants through age two.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in classroom activities
- Assist with daily routines for infants, ones, and twos
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment
Requirements
- Started or possess DCF's 40 clock hours
- Experience in teaching at the early childhood level (infants, ones, and twos)
- CDA certification preferred
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Passage of a background check and fingerprinting
Skills
- Ability to work with infants, ones, and twos
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of early childhood development
Pay
Pay will be based on education and experience.
Schedule
The available position is part time; Monday through Friday from 7:30am-1:00pm OR 12:00p.m.-5:30p.m.
