Early Careers: Actuarial Delivery Group Internship – Dallas, TX- 2027

About the Role

Join the Actuarial Delivery Group (ADG), a growing team within the North American Retirement Line of Business that focuses on operational excellence and systems expertise. As an intern, you will contribute to retirement valuation and special projects for Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, and post-retirement welfare plans.

Responsibilities

• Participate and actively engage in training sessions
• Perform actuarial valuations and prepare valuation reports
• Perform data analysis and reconciliations of pension plan participant data
• Perform pension benefit calculations using established spreadsheets or proprietary plan administration system
• Prepare government reporting forms and annual employee benefit statements
• Support special projects as ad-hoc needs arise
• Work with other colleagues to ensure each project is completed on time and meets quality standards
• Respond to all requests and communications effectively and efficiently

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or any other major with significant quantitative coursework
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
• Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams highly preferred
• Work experience demonstrating strong technical and/or client service skills
• Passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed client standards
• Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, but also cooperatively in a close team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Graduating with a Bachelor's or Master's degree between December 2027 and August 2028
• Able to work legally in the United States indefinitely and without Visa sponsorship

Pay

• Hourly rate: $20-$27/hr
• Eligible for overtime
