Responsibilities
- Serve as the face of Nextech within the skilled trades community while developing a strong pipeline of future technicians.
- Represent Nextech at career fairs, industry events, workforce development programs, and community outreach activities.
- Build and maintain partnerships with trade schools, technical colleges, apprenticeship programs, vocational schools, and workforce development organizations.
- Coordinate campus visits, classroom presentations, facility tours, recruiting events, and employer branding initiatives.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for entry-level HVAC technician positions.
- Source, interview, evaluate, and guide students and recent graduates through the hiring process.
- Partner with hiring leaders to understand workforce needs and anticipate future hiring demands.
- Build and nurture talent communities that keep prospective candidates engaged throughout their educational journey.
- Track recruiting performance, maintain accurate ATS and CRM records, analyze recruiting metrics, and recommend improvements that enhance hiring success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, campus recruiting, workforce development, career services, or relationship management.
- Experience recruiting for skilled trades, manufacturing, construction, field service, or HVAC-related positions is preferred.
- Experience building campus recruiting, trade school, or educational partnership programs is preferred.
- Previous experience within the HVAC industry or another service-related business is a plus.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruiting initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to analyze recruiting metrics and make data-driven recommendations.
- Self-motivated with strong initiative, sound judgment, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% as business needs require.
