Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Carry out geotechnical field investigations
  • Monitor heavy civil construction projects
  • Install and monitor geotechnical instrumentation
  • Perform and review engineering calculations
  • Engage in earthquake engineering
  • Design and permit landfills
  • Evaluate dams and levees
  • Create construction documentation
  • Write and review engineering reports

Education and Licensure

  • Bachelor's degree in civil and/or environmental engineering or geology
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred

Skills, Experience And Qualifications

  • Prior internship or work experience in engineering consulting preferred
  • Experience with geotechnical and engineering software such as AutoCAD, Slope/W, and PLAXIS preferred
  • Regular field work and overnight travel required
  • Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing required
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required
