Overview Full-time/Permanent Employee Location: Hollywood, MD Aether Aerospace is currently seeking a Lead Electronics Technician to join our growing team in the Hollywood, MD area. Responsibilities Perform Electrical/Mechanical Rapid-Prototyping of: Cables Harnesses Electrical Cabinets Enclosures Power Distribution Units on Military applications Key Qualifications Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret clearance (Active clearance preferred) Experience and Education: 8 years minimum of directly related experience of electrical cable and harness fabrication on Military applications. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent Experience using multimeters, crimp tools, power tools, wire stripers and field related practices. Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, and visual aids. Must be able to pass color blindness test. J-STD-001 (CIS) Certification. IPC WHMA-A-620 (CIS) Certification. Efficient at hand soldering of wires and Circuit boards. Testing Cables and Trouble shooting. Quality Assurance to check for compliance with Engineering Documentation. Preferred Qualifications Electronics/Electrical Engineering Degree (Associates). Electronics/Electrical Technician Certificate (Accredited Institution / Military). Experience Working with Military Aircrafts. Military Experience (US Army, USMC, NAVY, National Guard, Coast Guard, or Air Force). Active Government Security clearance. Experience with Excel spread sheets. Experience using wire laser marking machines. Electrical estimating for bidding on jobs. Aether Aerospace is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
