Role Overview
Hands-on E&I Technician supporting continuous production lines at our Dallas facility. You will work across electrical systems, motor controls, instrumentation, and drives. This is a rotating 12-hour day/night shift position in the Engineering Department.

This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Work across electrical systems, motor controls, instrumentation, and drives
- Isolate and repair faults up to 480VAC and 700VDC
- Perform panel work, terminations, and adhere to NEC standards
- Use LOTO and arc flash procedures
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, loop sheets, and P&IDs
- Calibrate and troubleshoot industrial instrumentation (4-20mA, 0-10VDC)
- Use HART communicators for signal tracing and loop integrity verification
- Develop PLC troubleshooting skills (Siemens S7, CTI 2500/505, Allen-Bradley)
- Follow network documentation and escalate issues as necessary
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years E&I experience with HS diploma or 3 years with an Associate's degree in a related field
- Demonstrated ability to work safely on systems up to 480VAC and 700VDC
- LOTO and arc flash qualification required upon hire

Skills
- Electrical Troubleshooting and Motor Controls
- Fault isolation and repair on systems up to 480VAC and 700VDC
- Motor control circuits: starters, contactors, overloads, and VFD-driven systems
- Panel work, terminations, and NEC-compliant practices
- LOTO, arc flash compliance, and energized work safety
- Industrial Instrumentation: 4-20mA and 0-10VDC analog calibration and troubleshooting
- Signal tracing and loop integrity verification
- HART communicator use preferred
- Basic Ethernet/IP and device-level wiring familiarity
- Basic PLC troubleshooting (Siemens S7, CTI 2500/505, Allen-Bradley)
- Wonderware/AVEVA or FactoryTalk trending tools
- Continuous or web process manufacturing background
