We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative E and I Construction Superintendent in Corpus Christi, TX, who thrives when people are in sync and construction projects are running smoothly. You’ll take the lead on daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site, and ensure the right materials, equipment, and people are there to get the job done. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of your team and our planet. As a passionate leader, you’ll leverage your people management skills to help your team members discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site.
  • Ensure the availability of materials, equipment, and personnel to execute construction tasks.
  • Promote and enforce safety, health, and environmental standards on-site.
  • Manage and mentor a team, fostering collaboration and individual growth.
  • Oversee contractor management and coordination.

Requirements

  • High School diploma (required).
  • At least 15 years of construction site experience.
  • At least 15 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of DCS (Distributed Control Systems).
  • MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) background with prior industrial site experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred).
  • Pharma industry experience (preferred).
  • OSHA 30 training (preferred).

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $92,000.00 to $126,500.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

Jacobs offers a hybrid working policy, allowing employees to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations to deliver their best work. In-person interactions are valued for collaboration, culture, and client delivery.
