E&I Planner

Responsibilities

• Provide necessary planning information to ensure safe and efficient execution of critical priority 1 and 2 jobs.
• Manage future, emergency work, and break-in by coordinating with the E&I supervisor.
• Participate in managing backlog by reviewing and planning notifications, grouping them as necessary, and ensuring plans meet timing requirements.
• Change notifications to orders, including accurate assignment of order type and maintenance activity types, creation of task lists for repetitive jobs, and creation or copying of job plans.
• Ensure job plans clearly show special instructions, required documentation, optimal scheduling logic, reservation or purchase orders for necessary components, and routing high-cost orders for verification.
• Forward job packages to the E&I Supervisor and solicit feedback for continuous improvement.
• Write necessary change orders for third-party services upon job completion.
• Fill in for Supervisor roles and responsibilities as needed, working unit outages, turnarounds, special projects, sometimes at nights and on weekends.

Accountabilities

• Total number and value of returned parts.
• Developing and maintaining a library of planned work.
• Maintaining weeks of planned backlog.
• Ensuring WO quality per the ACE Standard.
• Planning safety into each work order.
