E-Filing Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and coordination of all electronic filing activity for the Managing Attorney’s Office
  • Reviewing Law Clerk Assignment Lists and preparing ECF filing checklists
  • Assigning, guiding, and supporting law clerks on electronic filings
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and individual judge e-filing rules
  • Researching and maintaining current knowledge of ECF rules and procedures
  • Training new and existing clerks on e-filing, PDF/A conversion, and best practices
  • Monitoring staff proficiency and identifying training or support needs
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for attorneys, paralegals, and court personnel on filing issues
  • Making regular meetings with Managing Attorney leadership on performance and process issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 5-7 years’ experience working in a Managing Attorney or Clerk’s Office
  • Extensive experience with federal, state, and local electronic filing systems (i.e. PACER CM/ECF, NYSCEF, ACMS, et al.)
  • Strong knowledge of ECF rules, including local court and individual judge requirements
  • Able to research, interpret, and apply court rules accurately
  • Experience coordinating and supervising support staff filing work
  • Experience training and mentoring staff on e-filing procedures
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with legal technology and document management tools
  • Notary public certification

Pay

$95,000 - $110,000 annually

Schedule

This is a hybrid role requiring in-office attendance with a schedule set by the department.
