E-Commerce Team Leader
About the role
The Team Leader for E-Commerce is responsible for all aspects of daily operations for the grocery delivery and pickup experience. This role requires a talented, resilient leader who can lead fast-paced, growing teams and drive results through Associate Team Leaders and Supervisors. This role owns accountability across five critical areas: safety, quality, customer service, productivity, and team member engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead all E-Commerce operations including order fulfillment, customer experience, safety, quality, productivity, and team engagement across all shifts.
- Drive business results by analyzing KPIs, identifying trends, and implementing strategic initiatives to improve operational performance.
- Execute operational plans based on forecasts, historical data, and business priorities while managing labor costs, supply expenses, and operational efficiency metrics.
- Partner with Store Leadership and cross-functional teams to align E-Commerce operations with store-wide goals, optimize workflows, and resolve systemic issues.
- Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of Associate Team Leaders and Supervisors through regular coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective action when necessary.
- Make quality hiring decisions and create succession plans and development pathways for high-potential team members.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, food safety, and company safety standards through regular audits, incident investigations, and implementation of preventive measures.
- Ensure all team members receive required training and certifications.
- Drive customer experience metrics including order accuracy, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Resolve complex customer escalations, analyze feedback and quality data, and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues and ensure consistent quality standards.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and lead improvement initiatives that drive measurable results.
- Test, implement, and document new processes, tools, technologies, and standard operating procedures to enhance productivity and customer experience.
- Facilitate team meetings and communicate operational performance, challenges, and wins to Store Leadership and operational partners, including third-party vendors.
- Create schedules 3+ weeks in advance, monitor real-time operations, and adjust staffing deployment to meet customer order times and productivity targets.
- Ensure equipment, tools, supplies, staging areas, coolers, and workspaces are maintained, functional, organized, and meet operational standards.
- Support company programs and initiatives, inclusive of varied checkout options, store formats, and all product assortment, tools, and technology.
- Maintain operational standards including but not limited to safety and store security protocols.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by store or company leadership.
Pay
The wage range for this position is $22.40 - $40.40 hourly.
