E-Commerce Specialist
Position: E‑Commerce and Online Inventory Sales Management
Location: In‑office (local)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, normal business hours
Primary Responsibilities
- Review and organize existing Trade Mart inventory
- Identify merchandise with the strongest resale potential
- Research current market values and competitive pricing
- Photograph and prepare merchandise for online sale
- Create accurate, professional, keyword‑optimized product listings
- List merchandise on eBay and other appropriate online marketplaces
- Monitor listings and adjust pricing to improve sales
- Respond to buyer questions and offers
- Process sold merchandise and coordinate shipping or pickup
- Maintain accurate records of listed, sold, and remaining inventory
- Recommend additional platforms or sales methods to move inventory faster
- Identify merchandise that may perform better through bulk sales, local sales, auctions, or liquidation channels
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience selling merchandise online
- Comfort using eBay Seller tools
- Understanding of online product listings, pricing, shipping, and buyer communication
- Ability to research resale value of various merchandise
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfort working with a large and varied inventory
- Ability to photograph and accurately describe products
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Focus on measurable sales results
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with eBay sales
- Background in online resale businesses
- Knowledge of e‑commerce marketplace management
- Retail inventory liquidation experience
- Warehouse inventory handling
- Product photography skills
- Shipping and fulfillment expertise
- Experience with auctions
- Wholesale or bulk merchandise sales experience

- Speed of inventory reduction
- Accuracy of inventory records
- Ability to identify the best sales channel for each type of merchandise
Ideal Candidate
We are especially interested in someone who has personally operated an eBay store, resale business, online marketplace account, or similar e‑commerce operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who knows how to take merchandise sitting in a warehouse and turn it into cash.
