E-Commerce Merchandiser

Responsibilities
- Strategy: develop and execute ecommerce merchandising strategies and tactics that align with company objectives and goals.
- Supporting A/B testing: propose and QA test variants in support of merchandising tests; document results and compile findings for review.
- Content Management: manage day-to-day content updates including banners, product placements, and promotional modules.
- Utilize: web analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of ecommerce merchandising strategies and make data-driven decisions.
- Algolia (eg. pinning/boosting/burying) and submits PLP sort/content update/etc requests through JIRA and ClickUp.
- Report: merchandising performance reporting across categories, surfacing trends, and recommendations.
- Conducting: regular analysis of sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends to optimize product assortment and improve customer experience.
- Manage: the ecommerce product catalog, including product optimization, categorization, and attribution.
- Collaborate: with cross-functional teams to develop and execute promotions, campaigns, and site merchandising tactics that drive conversion and revenue growth.
- Monitor: competitive landscape and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Partnership: with the product team to ensure website content and product information is accurate and up to date.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in ecommerce merchandising
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with ecommerce platforms and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, ContentSquare, merchandising tools like Algolia, or Bloomreach, ClickUp (or something similar)
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and how to optimize website content for search engines
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on business objectives
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Compensation
In addition to other forms of compensation, such as perks and benefits, the estimated salary range for this role is $86,000 - $108,200 for candidates outside of California. For California-based candidates, the estimated salary range is $95,260 - $119,020. The final offer will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skill set, experience, geographical location, market conditions, and other organizational needs. The Company reserves the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for various reasons including business needs.
