Key Responsibilities
- Cin7: Configure, maintain, and optimize Cin7 as the central inventory and order management system. Build and manage product records, BOMs, stock adjustments, and purchase orders. Set up and troubleshoot integrations between Cin7 and all connected sales channels and accounting platforms. Monitor inventory levels and ensure real-time accuracy across all warehouses and locations. Generate and interpret reports for stock, sales performance, and fulfillment metrics.
- Shopify: Manage product listings, collections, pricing, and inventory sync between Shopify and Cin7. Identify and resolve synchronization errors, order discrepancies, and fulfillment issues. Optimize the Shopify backend for performance, including apps, workflows, and automation. Collaborate on store updates, promotions, and seasonal campaigns as needed.
- eBay: Create, update, and manage eBay listings with accurate product data, pricing, and stock levels. Ensure Cin7-to-eBay integration is functioning correctly, with orders flowing and inventory adjusting in real time. Monitor listing performance and troubleshoot any compliance or policy-related issues. Stay current with eBay platform changes that may impact listings or integrations.
- Xero: Oversee the integration between Cin7 and Xero to ensure accurate financial data flow. Reconcile purchase orders, invoices, credit notes, and payment records. Identify and resolve discrepancies between inventory and accounting records. Work closely with the finance team to support month-end and year-end processes.
Product Content & Data Management
- Create, maintain, and optimize product listings with accurate titles, descriptions, images, attributes, and pricing. Ensure product data consistency across all platforms (Cin7, Shopify, eBay).
- Develop and enforce product data standards and naming conventions. Conduct regular audits to identify and correct data gaps, errors, or inconsistencies.
Workflow Optimization & Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies across platforms and implement solutions to streamline operations. Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all integration and platform management tasks.
- Proactively flag integration issues and lead troubleshooting efforts through to resolution. Provide recommendations on tools, automations, and platform upgrades to improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cin7 (formerly DEAR Inventory) in a similar operations or integration role.
- Demonstrated experience managing Shopify and eBay platforms in a retail or wholesale context.
- Solid understanding of multichannel e-commerce operations, order management, and inventory control.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and consistency.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve integration issues.
- Strong written communication skills for creating product content and internal documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with additional marketplace or e-commerce platforms (Amazon, WooCommerce, etc.).
- Familiarity with API-based integrations and third-party automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make).
- Background in product photography, SEO copywriting, or digital merchandising.
- Experience in wholesale, retail, or distribution environments.
