E&C Post Order Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Foster supplier performance in terms of schedule, quality, and cost
  • Champion proactive risk mitigation and claims support
  • Order Kick-off & Planning
    • Review PO scope, milestones, and contractual obligations
    • Support supplier kick-off meetings
    • Establish detailed execution schedules
    • Discover risks in early phase - Early detection of delays
  • Expediting Activities
    • Maintain monitoring of engineering, procurement, and fabrication progress
    • Conduct desk and shop expediting
    • Validate supplier progress vs actual
    • Cook recovery plans for delays
  • Engineering & Document Control
    • Monitor vendor documentation
    • Support timely approvals
    • Resolve comments and avoid delays
    • Maintain documentation for dossiers completion
  • Quality & Inspection
    • Nurture relationships with inspectors and agencies
    • Support NCRs and ensure closure with vendor and SQC teams
    • Help ensure readiness for shipment release
  • Logistics Coordination
    • Validate shipment readiness
    • Coordinate packing and documentation
    • Support Logistics to coordinate with vendor and interface with freight forwarders
    • Support Logistics teams to monitor shipments to site
  • Contract & Claims Management
    • Support contractual compliance
    • Discover deviations and delays
    • Support back-charge and LD cases
    • Maintain documentation for claims
  • Cost & Performance Control
    • Monitor Order Management & Expediting budget
    • Analyze cost impacts
    • Support recovery strategies
    • Share financial performance updates
  • Reporting & Governance
    • Prepare weekly/monthly reports
    • Highlight risks and delays
    • Participate in project reviews
  • Order Close-Out
    • Support complete documentation
    • Resolve NCRs and punch points
    • Support SAP closure

    Required Qualifications

    • Engineering degree or equivalent required
    • Discipline : Gas industry; Mechanics; Chemical, supply chain management
    • 7+ Years of experience required
    • Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S.
    • Candidates must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
    • Experience in an international EPC company or in manufacturing or construction management, especially in the field of Supplier Management or Project management
    • Knowledge of international standards and regulations (e.g. Incoterms and basic commercial knowledge to claims and warranties)
    • Ability to read and interpret Vendor manufacturing schedule and progress reports & basic drawings
    • Knowledge of Fabrication process
    • Knowledge of Manufacturing procedures and processes
    • Knowledge of Vendor engineering and document approval process
    • Strong experience in workshop audits and vendor qualification process

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior industrial gas experience
