Dyslexia Reading Intervention Tutor

About the role

Provide reading intervention support to students with dyslexia, based on expertise and knowledge of the state curriculum. Provide supplemental assignments to students to help promote a greater understanding of the material. Provide remedial and enrichment support for students. Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress. Provide a customized approach tailored to the individual needs of each student.

Requirements

• A qualified applicant will have a bachelor’s degree
• Meet at least one of the following criteria:
• You hold a valid California State teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof
• You are a current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate
• You have experience with reading intervention programs such as Wilson Reading, UFLI, Barton, etc.
