Job Description
The Dyslexia Teacher/Reading Intervention position at Tulia Junior High School is responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. This includes implementing evidence-based interventions, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with teachers and parents to support learning.

Responsibilities
- Provide individualized reading intervention programs tailored to each student’s needs
- Assess and monitor student progress using standardized tests and classroom observations
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop and implement comprehensive educational plans
- Attend professional development workshops and training sessions related to dyslexia and reading intervention
- Participate in IEP meetings and other school-related activities as needed
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
- A master’s degree in special education or a related field preferred
- Valid teaching certification in Texas
- Experience working with students with dyslexia or similar reading difficulties
- Knowledge of evidence-based reading interventions and instructional strategies
Qualifications

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The Dyslexia Teacher/Reading Intervention position is full-time and works Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.
