Essential Job Duties

• Loyola Medicine, treating the whole person with compassion—to "also treat the human spirit."
• Schedules patient appointments in conjunction with orders, urgency of care and patient convenience, involving multiple sites when appropriate.
• Maintains physicians' schedules daily for optimal schedule.
• Utilizes insurance verification procedures to ensure maximum reimbursement and correct payment.
• Proficient in clinical, registration and scheduling software systems.
• Learns new systems as required.
• Efficiently and effectively manage a high volume of telephone calls to the service area.
• Answers calls using telephone customer service skills and maintains 95% customer telephone skills.

Monday- Friday

Position Requirements

• Associates Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
• Minimum of 3 years of previous job-related experience
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Service Rep, highly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years training in general administrative, business, healthcare, or related field

Compensation

Pay Range: $21.12 - $25.53 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
